What is BCP Oil?
BCP oil is a botanical terpene! What are Terpenes you ask? Terpenes are compounds or aromas that give plants their taste and smell. Better known as Beta-caryophyllene BCP is found in many different plants like black pepper, clove, hops and copaiba oil, as well as the hemp and cannabis flower. When Beta-caryophyllene or BCP oil is consumed, it can deliver many of the same benefits that cannabis oil offers.
What does it do?
Much like CBD oil, BCP oil is an agonist of the CB2 receptor in our endocannabinoid system, but it is not an agonist of the CB1 receptor meaning it has no psycho-tropic effects. When Terpenes are consumed with cannabinoids like CBD and THC they create what is called the entourage effect which is all the compounds of cannabis working together with both CB1 and CB2 receptors to create balance of all systems in the body. When BCP oil is isolated from cannabis it can bring some much needed relief of certain symptoms and health conditions without compromising your ability to drive or work.
